The Kolkata Knight Riders secured their third Indian Premier League title with a dominant eight-wicket win over the Sunrisers Hyderabad in a one-sided final held in Chennai on Sunday. Choosing to bat first, SRH got off to a disastrous start, losing their top batsmen, Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head, with only six runs on the board.
Head, in particular, was dismissed for a first-ball duck by a stunning outswinger. SRH was eventually bowled out for a meager 113 runs. KKR effortlessly chased down the target in just 10.3 overs, losing only two wickets.
