RCB vs SRH HIGHLIGHTS, IPL 2024: Sunrisers Hyderabad Beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 25 Runs

Sunrisers Hyderabad won against Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 25 runs in the 30th game of the 2024 Indian Premier League, which took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Monday.

Earlier, the captain of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Faf du Plessis, chose to field first against Pat Cummins’ team, Sunrisers Hyderabad. Travis Head scored the fourth-fastest hundred in IPL history and Heinrich Klaasen hit a quick fifty, helping Sunrisers Hyderabad set a record by scoring 287/3 against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. This is the highest score ever in the IPL and the second-highest in all T20 matches.

On March 27, Sunrisers Hyderabad had previously set a record with 277/3 against Mumbai Indians. Travis stayed calm and scored a hundred in just 39 balls, sharing a 108-run partnership with opener Abhishek Sharma, who made 34 runs. Travis was out soon after making 102 runs from 41 balls, including eight sixes and nine fours. Wicketkeeper-batter Heinrich Klaasen kept attacking the Bengaluru bowlers, scoring 67 runs off 31 balls with seven sixes. Aiden Markram and Abdul Samad then finished the innings strongly, scoring 37 not out off 17 balls and 37 not out off 10 balls, respectively.

Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis began their innings strongly, hitting many boundaries. However, Kohli was out after scoring in the thirties, and then Faf increased his scoring pace. Unfortunately, the next three players who came in failed to score ten runs each. Faf was eventually out after making 62 runs. After that, Dinesh Karthik tried to win the game for Bengaluru and scored an impressive 83 runs from just 35 balls. He was out in the 19th over. Anuj Rawat made a small contribution in the final over, but it wasn’t enough for Bengaluru to win the game.
