Former Indian cricketer Praveen Kumar holds the record for bowling the most maiden overs in the nearly 16-year history of IPL. Praveen Kumar bowled 14 maiden overs in a total of 119 matches played in his career.

He started his career in the Indian Premier League playing with Royal Challengers Bangalore. He then also played for Punjab Kings, Mumbai Indians, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Lions. Praveen Kumar played 119 matches in IPL from 2008 to 2017 and took 90 wickets.
